About This Project

An exclusive interview with Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe on the future of transportation and sustainable mobility, produced for the technology channel NothingButTech with host Jacklyn Dallas.

A CEO interview is a one-take opportunity: there is no reshoot with a founder's calendar. The production had to deliver broadcast-quality picture and sound inside the access window, and the finished film carries a substantive conversation about where electric vehicles are headed.

For the channel's audience, a conversation with the founder building Rivian's electric trucks and SUVs is appointment viewing; the production's job was to make sure nothing about the picture or sound distracted from it.

Our Approach

Beshoy Saad served as DP, editor, and colorist. The setup prioritized fast rig time and a look consistent with the channel's premium interview format — clean key light, controlled background, and framing that keeps a long conversation visually alive.

Handling edit and color in the same hands kept the turnaround tight and the final grade consistent with the rest of the channel's Rivian coverage, including the R1S review also produced by Sunlyte.
