Embark on a thrilling visual quest to capture the fiery spirit of volcanic wine!

About This Project

Volcanic wine is grown in some of the most dramatic terrain in agriculture, and this project set out to capture that origin story — the landscape, the vines, and the character of wine raised on volcanic soil — as an immersive photo series for the brand.

For a beverage brand, provenance is the product. The series documents where this wine actually comes from, giving the brand imagery with a sense of place that stock photography cannot fake.

Our Approach

This was a full-crew production: Michael Sullivan as shooting DP and camera operator, Beshoy Saad on camera and drone, and Dave Suchanek editing. The drone coverage matters here — volcanic terrain reads at scale, and the aerial perspective is what connects the glass in someone's hand to the landscape that produced it.

The team built the series to travel from ground level to altitude: detail work in the vines, environmental portraits of the terrain, and aerials that place the vineyard in its geology.
